Last weekend, together with my teammates from work went to Baler, Aurora. The town's pretty famous for its surf-worthy beaches and waterfalls. Travel to the little town takes roughly five-six hours from Manila, back and forth. We started our travel Friday night and got back to the city Sunday night. It was exhausting, but definitely worth it.
On our first day, we trekked our way to the Ditumabo falls in the morning. Took a dip on the freezing water, as well! Had our lunch at Jerry Shan's place, eat-all-you-can buffet for only Php 200. Worth every peso! In the afternoon, we finally did what the little town is famous for, surfing! Ended the night with some sumptuous grilled dinner cooked by our very own manager.
Second day was spent mostly visiting the town's sights. House of Aurora Quezon, Ermita Hill, Rock formation, Museo de Baler, the Balete tree and hanging bridge.
