One of the common traits among successful people is having morning habits. Morning habits help set the tone of your day. It aids you to feel more awake and energized to have a productive day ahead. It also gets you motivated to do your work efficiently throughout the day.

But having too many things to do in the morning can be quite overwhelming. Thus, you end up not having any habits at all. Below I'll list three habits that you could easily incorporate in your morning routine to jumpstart the day ahead!

3 morning habits to jumpstart your day

Prayer & Affirmations

The moment you wake up, say a little prayer of thanks for another day to live, another day to pursue your passion, another day to be with your loved ones. This activates the sense of gratitude the moment you're awake, thus helps you to always look out for the positives throughout the day. It does lift your mood knowing you're already been blessed the moment you opened your eyes.

Affirmations also help reassure yourself that you're on the right track, you are where you're supposed to be. This also attracts positive energy to help you reach your goals and desires. The more you say something to yourself, the more you believe it.

Meditation

Another habit that is really great in the morning is meditation. Knowing a pile of work waits for you, give some time for your brain to relax. Meditating would clear up some clutter within your mind and helps you focus more on the things that you should be doing. It also helps you to be really present, being aware of your body and breathing, and how all of these work together to reach your goals.

Exercise

When you exercise, you release endorphins, which is a happy hormone. The exercise would not just only help you get physically fit, but also make your mornings more cheerful. It gets you to be more excited about what the day has in store for you. Squeeze in about 10-15 minutes of workout every morning, and it will do wonders for your mood and body.

  1. That's a nice list Herah. :) I always struggle to start my day with exercise. So stretching it is! Also does play time with the kitty counts as exercise? :D

    1. Thanks Yamini!

I do stretches too if I get lazy to exercise. We just need to get our bodies moving. :)

If you and your kitty around, then sure why not?! Play time with your kitty is still a good morning habit if it does help you get your day started. 😉
